Bob and Lynda Bremer of Sunset will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a family dinner at the Maddox Lodge on Saturday, Nov. 16.
They were married Nov. 16, 1963 in Ogden. Their vows were solemnized in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Los Angeles Temple Feb. 4, 1967.
A Huntington Beach High School graduate, he also graduated as a journeyman carpenter and spent the next few years building homes in Southern California. He served in the U.S. Air Force stationed at Hill Air Force Base. He worked for Questar Gas Co. for 30 years, retiring in 1998. He is currently the ward clerk in the Sunset 4th Ward and has served in that position for his last four bishops.
She is a graduate of Ogden High School, Weber State College with a Certificate of Proficiency in Cosmetology and the Ogden Institute of Religion.
She has served in many LDS callings for the church and is currently teaching Primary. She worked in the insurance industry, retiring from Kaye Browning State Farm Insurance Co.
Their children and spouses are Laura and Scott Venstra, Ron and Candy Bremer, Jason and Heather Bremer, and Lisa Bremer.
Their grandchildren are Zach Venstra, Kailee Venstra, Keldon Venstra, Ethan Bremer, Gentry Bremer, Drew Bremer, and Kaylee Lund.
