Brigham City - Thelda Moore Bohman, was born August 5, 1935, to David Ernest and Sylvia Annie Hunter Moore, in Ogden, UT. She returned to her Heavenly Father November 26, 2013 after a valiant fight with cancer.
She attended Ogden schools, graduating from Ogden High School and Weber College. Thelda married Victor Hugo Bohman Dec. 18, 1957 in the Los Angeles LDS Temple. She served a mission with her beloved companion in the same area the Long Beach Mission.
Active in the LDS church, she loved helping people with their genealogy, and worked in the Brigham City Family History Center for many years.
She had served as music leader in the Daughters of the Pioneers, relief society and primary. She loved music and sang in choirs during her school days in many musical productions and carried on singing in musicals as an adult. She was in several productions at The Heritage Theater in Perry. She loved traveling especially when it included visiting temples. Thelda loved crochet, sewing, singing, acting, ceramics, she played the Organ and Flute.
She is survived by her husband Vic; daughters, Marchelle Higley (Dan),Robin Westover (Floyd), both of Brigham; sons, Todd Bohman (Jean) of North Logan, Darin Bohman and Jeff Bohman of Brigham City; a sister, Doreen Mourdant; a brother Gene Moore (Carol); sister in law, Mary Moore; 10 grandchildren and 11 great grand children.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Cloyd Moore and brother in law, Vern Mourdant.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Members First Credit Union, in Thelda's name.
The Bohman family wishes to thank Chris Robinette, and Encompass Hospice and those that helped make her passing comfortable and peaceful.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 2, 2013 at 11 a.m. at the Brigham City LDS 22nd Ward Chapel, 895 North 625 West.
A viewing will be held on Sunday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at Gillies Funeral Chapel, 634 East 200 South, Brigham City, Utah and at the CHURCH on Monday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m.
Interment will be in the Peterson Cemetery in Peterson, Utah.
