Lake Bonneville Community Symphony will present the 12th annual performance of Handel's "Messiah," with choruses sung by the audience and supported by the Wasatch Master Chorale.
This holiday favorite will take place at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 6, at the Brigham City Tabernacle of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and at 7:30 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 8, at Holy Family Catholic Church in South Ogden.
Those who wish to participate in this event are encouraged to bring their own music. A limited number of books are available to check out on a first come, first serve basis, according to a news release from organizers.
The G. Schirmer arrangement will be used.
Solos will be performed by soprano Jeanice N. Woodbrey, alto Michelle Swenson, tenor Rick L. Givens and bass Dennis Ahern.
The Lake Bonneville Community Symphony is managed by the Lake Bonneville Symphonic Society, nonprofit organization funded by the George S. and Dolores Dore Eccles Foundation, the Utah Arts Council, and the annual Gala Dinner and Silent Auction, which is supported by local businesses, friends and family.
