HOOPER -- Two teenage boys were transported to the hospital after their vehicle was struck and rolled over.

At about 7 p.m. Friday, a 17-year-old boy was driving northbound at 5100 West with a 16-year-old boy in the passenger seat, Weber County Sgt. Mike Strecker said.

A 17-year-old girl was driving eastbound at 5100 South and failed to stop at the four-way stop, hitting the other vehicle as it was crossing, Strecker said. The car with the two boys swerved and rolled onto its top in a ditch. Both boys were able to crawl out of the car.

The two were transported to McKay-Dee Hospital with minor injuries. Both were wearing their seat belts at the time.

The female driver was treated on scene and released to her parents. She was cited for running the stop sign.
