Drivers suffered plenty of minor accidents, slide-offs and fender benders on Top of Utah roads during Saturday's snowstorm, although no serious injuries were reported.
Weber Area Consolidated Dispatch, which dispatches for both Weber and Morgan counties, reported a total of 94 crashes between 12 a.m. and 7 p.m. Saturday.
Dispatchers for the Davis County sheriff's office also reported that no fatal or serious accidents had occurred as of Saturday evening, but crews were kept busy unpiling wrecks and helping people.
A dispatcher from Box Elder County said emergency workers had been very busy there Saturday as well. She said there were a lot of slide-offs all day since before 11 a.m. and that some people had to be checked out by emergency responders. None of the accidents were considered serious.
The Utah Department of Transportation said road snow is expected under any snow showers for all routes until Sunday evening. The state said the heaviest road snow across the northern Wasatch Front was expected late Saturday night into Sunday morning.
