OGDEN -- A pair of teams headed in the opposite direction squared off in WSHL hockey action this weekend, with the Ogden Mustangs sweeping Missoula at the Weber County Sports Complex.
The Mustangs improved to 15-52, good for 32 points and second place behind the Idaho Junior Steelheads (42 points).

Friday's game started out poorly for Ogden. Down 2-0, the Mustangs rallied with four goals.
The Mustangs put together a strong effort Saturday night, topping Missoula 7-1. Dusty Watt and Schuyler Seyfert each had 3-point nights, while Tyler Fallica had a solid game in net, stopping 35 of 36 shots.
Sunday, the Mustangs put the Maulers on the bus with a 5-4 win. Jon Mencer scored two goals and assisted on another for the Mustangs, who took a 4-2 lead after two periods. Connor Web had 49 saves.
Jimmy Peplinski scored in the third period to extend the lead to 5-2 before Missoula rallied.
Ogden hosts the Salt Lake City Moose next Friday and Saturday.
