Delma Olsen Bennett Naef of Ogden celebrated her 90th birthday at a small family dinner on Jan. 18 at the Maddox Ranch House Restaurant.
She was born in Monroe to Ervin and Delma Hunt Olsen on Jan. 14, 1924, and grew up in Manti.
She graduated from Manti High School and attended the University of Utah.
She married Oliver J. Bennett on Aug. 23, 1948, in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Salt Lake Temple. He died Dec. 9, 1954. She later married Farold Naef on Jan. 15, 1971. He died on Nov. 29, 2000.
She worked for many years at various companies in the Salt Lake City area before moving to Ogden. She was employed by Country Club and Western Mortgage - United Saving, retiring in 1989.
She is a member of the LDS Church. She has held many teaching and leadership positions in her lifetime. One of her most cherished callings was to serve more than 16 years in the Ogden Temple as an ordinance worker. She is an active member of the Daughters of Utah Pioneers and has served in many positions in her camp and is currently on the company board.
Her hobbies are reading, quilting, yard work and riding her bike between 2 to 5 miles six days a week in the summer.
Her son and daughter-in-law are Oliver O. and Debra Bennett, Harrisville. She has three grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
