Ronald G. and Barbara R. Storey of North Ogden celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. The event will be commemorated with a cruise to Alaska in the summer.
They were married on Jan. 16, 1964, in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Logan Temple.
He was born and raised in North Ogden, where he worked and played on the family farm. He graduated from Weber High School. He served an LDS mission to Brazil. He retired from Hill Air Force Base in 1994. Since retirement, he has worked the family farm, spent time hunting, camping and traveling.
She was born and raised in Ogden and graduated from Ben Lomond High School. She enjoys gardening, sewing, canning her homegrown produce, helping on the farm and supporting her grandchildren at their activities.
They enjoy spending time with family and friends.
Their children and their spouses are Kurt and Sheila Storey, Cheryl and Mike DeSpain, Scott and Jennifer Storey, Colleen and Randy Madsen, and Kimberly Green.
They have 18 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
