Ronald Reagan, the right-wing's god who once said that the government wasn't the solution but the problem, quickly after taking office, began to use the government to extend the military and creating a deficit three times larger than he inherited from his predecessor.
Now, the present office holder, Barack Obama, who has cut the deficit in half, got us out of a needless war in Iraq and provided health care for one and all, is compared to Adolf Hitler. Now I ask, how can someone who took over the country while it was in the worst economic shape since the great depression fault him, especially when the opposite side of the aisle keeps impairing each and every one of his efforts to take it out of the ditch it was in, and move it forward?
If the Republicans in Congress would only work half as hard with this president to solve the problems they themselves help create by passing every spending bill his predecessor created, this country and its citizens would be In a much better position than it's in today. This reminds me of that old saying, "together we stand, divided we fall." One gets an airport named after him in our country's capital; the other is hated, called names and seen as evil by the right-wingers. Every one of his policies would be seen as a great agenda if it had been a white president. So, don't tell me that the color of Obama's skin has nothing to do with it.
