As a parent, there are a variety of decisions that must be made in order to provide for your children.
Many of those decisions may seem simple and easy with little to no thought, but what about the decision of where to place your child if and when child care is needed?
Many parents choose a family member or a neighbor, but what about the parents who do not have those options? What if that choice to use family and friends ends up not being the best option?
The early care that is provided to children outside of parental care is one of the most important decisions that a parent will make. Your child’s proper healthy development depends on safe and positive experiences in those first years.
How do parents make a choice in child care that is going to ensure that their child is getting these safe and positive experiences? When my daughter was young, the choice was dependent entirely on my feelings, intuition and educated knowledge.
