LAYTON -- A former Layton man is facing charges for illegally tattooing five teenagers and smoking marijuana in their presence seven years ago.
Vincent Martin Hernandez, 45, was picked up in California on a $10,000 warrant and booked in the Davis County Jail on Monday on one count of endangerment of a child, a third-degree felony; and one count of unlawfully tattooing of a minor, a Class B misdemeanor.
Layton police said Hernandez tattooed his roommate's daughter and four of her friends sometime between December of 2007 and March of 2008. He also smoked marijuana in front of them. The teenagers were between the ages of 15 and 17 years old.
The warrant for his arrest was issued in 2010, police said.
