Soldotna resident Anna Ann Kittrell Bailey Crowell, 77, passed away Sunday, February 9, 2014 at Central Peninsula Hospital inSoldotna.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday, February 14, atPeninsula Memorial Chapel, 5839 Kenai Spur Hwy. in Kenai. She will be buried in the SoldotnaCommunity Memorial Park.
Ann was born September3, 1936 in Hollandale, Mississippi, the only child of George Lindholm Bailey and Anna Love (Buntin) Bailey. She attended andgraduated from Lexington High School in Lexington, Mississippi.
She moved to Soldotna in 1999 and worked at Joann'sFabrics.
Ann enjoyed knitting,crocheting, reading and cooking.
She is survived by her son, Robert Crowell of Anchorage; daughter and son-in-law, Melinda and Steven Cromar of Plain City, Utah; grandson, Charles Crowell of Anchorage; granddaughters, Abagail Kovach of Anchorage, Leticia, Heather and Sonya Cromar all of Plain City, Utah; and great-grandsons, Jonathan and Logan Kovach, both of Anchorage.
Rather than flowers, the family prefers memorial donations to the American Cancer Society.
Arrangements were by Peninsula Memorial Chapel in Kenai.
