ROY - Our loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away February 22, 2014. She was born September 14, 1925 in Ogden, Utah, daughter of Eldred Madsen and Edith Elizabeth Grundy Jacobs. She was raised in Ogden,graduating from Ogden High School in 1943.

On June 3, 1942, she married Elwyn Smith Walker in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He preceded her in death on November 30, 1979.

Lillian was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, where she served in many callingsthroughout her life. She served an LDS mission from 1996 - 1998, in the Washington D.C. Temple and Anicostia Mission.

She retired from the IRS after 25 years of service. She was a member of the Lions Club, the Quilt Guild of Ogden, Daughter of Utah Pioneers, and a member of the Embroidery Guild of Ogden.She loved sewing, made many beautiful quilts and was a master seamstress up until her passing.

Lillian loved her gardens and working in them. She enjoyed camping and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved all of her babies.

She is survived by her children, Cheryl Young (Harold), Pamela Walker, Scott Walker (fianc, Debbie Isaacson), Chris JacobsWalker (Edee), Barbara Walker; ten grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren; siblings, Shirley J. Frecker, Carol Simonson, and Gerald Jacobs (Carma).

Lillian was preceded in death by her parents and husband.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, February 26, 2014, at 11 a.m., at Myers Roy Mortuary, 5865 South 1900 West, Roy, Utah.A viewing for family and friends will be held on Tuesday, February 25, 2014, from 6 - 8 p.m., and on Wednesday from 9:40 - 10:40 a.m., prior to services.

Interment in the Ogden City Cemetery.

The family would like to give special thanks to the staff at Pineview Rehabilitation Center for their love and tenderness, and to Dr. Herold and his staff. In lieu of flowers, the family asks donations be made to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day SaintsGeneral Mission Fund.
