Calvin R. Dittmore of Roy celebrated his 90th birthday with a family dinner at Maddox Ranch Lodge. He was born March 8, 1924 in Clifton Mills, WV., to Samuel and Matilda Mae Dittmore.

He attended a one room school house in Gibbon Glade, PA., and graduated from Uniontown High School in 1943. He graduated from Maryland School of Engineering and Weber State College. He is a veteran of World War II and the Korean War. He worked for Westinghouse on the first Atomic Submarine Project, and retired from Hill Air Force Base after 30 years of government service as a Procurement Officer.

He married Dorit Schenck August 17, 1951. Their vows were solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple on November 26, 1963. They have resided in Roy for the past 56 years.His interests include woodworking, coin collecting and traveling.

His children and spouses are Debbie and Gary Bennett, Roy; Doyle and Laura Dittmore, Huntsville; Darron and and Linda Dittmore, Roy. He has nine grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
