The happy couple was married March 7, 1964 at the Salt Lake City Temple.
He was born in Chicago and moved to Utah via Chicago in the 1950’s. He graduated from Davis High School in 1962 and spent several years in the Army Reserve. He then spent 41 years working for the post office as a rural carrier, retiring recently, and continuing on as a bus driver for the Davis School District. He received many awards for his safe driving and worked as shop steward for many years. He is very, very active and has spent time on a variety of hobbies from motorcycles to Tai Kwon Do. He has served in many callings in the LDS church.
She was raised in Clinton and graduated from Davis High in 1962. She retired from the Davis County Library after many years of dedicated service in a variety of jobs from front desk work to middle management duties. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, gardening, piano and family history. In addition to raising a family and working for the library, she has served in many different callings in the LDS Church throughout the years.
They have lived in Clinton, Roy and South Weber during their time together. They enjoy traveling and spend time exploring warmer climates during the winter and when their various responsibilities allow. They served as ordinance workers at the Ogden Temple. They enjoy their family, especially their many grandchildren. They are best friends.
