MissyP.Simpson,88,passedawaypeacefullyTuesday,March26,2014,athomeafteralongcourageousbattlewithmultiplemedicalproblems.ShewasbornOctober19,1925,inSaltLakeCity,Utah,daughterofAndrewEdwardBabinchakandNydiaLillianUrry.

Missy was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ ofLatter-Day Saints. One of herfavorite callings, was making baby booties, hats, and blankets for the newborn babies in her ward. It is estimated she made several hundred of these clothes for babies.

Missy married Daniel Lloyd Probert June 20, 1945, in Salt Lake City, Utah. Theyhad two sons, Randal and David. They were later divorced. She then married Theron R. Simpson, they had two sons, Read Howard and Douglas Keith Simpson, and two daughters (both deceased), Vicky and Julie. They were later divorced. Missy's great love was herfamily, she sacrificed everything for her children and grandchildren.

Surviving are her sons, Randal Lloyd Probert , Salt Lake City, David Daniel (Jacklyn) Probert , of Clinton, Read Howard Simpson (Robin deceased) of Layton, Douglas Keith Simpson, Chicago, IL, 25 grandchildren, and 17 great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, April 2, 2014, at11 a.m., at the Chapel Hills Ward Chapel, 1290 North Church Street, Layton, Utah. A viewing will be held Tuesday, April 1, 2014 from 6 - 8 p.m., at Myers Roy Mortuary, 5865 South 1900 West, Roy, Utah and on Wednesday from 9:45 - 10:45 a.m., prior toservices at the church.

Interment in the Hooper City Cemetery.

A luncheon will be provided by the Ward Relief Society for family and friends at the Chapel Hills Ward.

Family wishes to express deepest gratitude to the hospice nurse Melissa for her loving care. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to any Goldenwest Credit Union.
