Richard and Phyllis Brady Candland of Ogden will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on July 25. Their children will host an anniversary celebration for family and friends from 4 to 7 p.m. on Saturday, July 23, at Mount Ogden Park in Ogden.
They were married July 25, 1961, in Santa Paula, Calif.
They have five children, born and raised in Ogden: David and Cindy Candland, Shellie and Greg McDowell, Danny and Karla Candland, Brand and Monica Candland, and Chad and Lisa Candland.
They have 11 grandchildren and one great-grandchild with two more great-grandchildren on the way.
