OGDEN -- The victim of a two-vehicle crash Sunday afternoon at Second Street and Fowler Avenue was arrested after he refused to cooperate with police.
The accident happened around 4 p.m., said Ogden Police Sgt. Chris McAllister.
An 1998 Audi driven by Corbin Hansen, 20, of North Ogden, was traveling east on Second Street, weaving in an out of traffic and, according to witnesses, passing vehicles on the left and right sides at about 60 mph, McAllister said.
The Audi clipped a 1994 Ford Bronco in the rear, causing the Bronco to lose control and roll over.
The driver of the Bronco sustained minor injuries. He was taken to McKay-Dee Hospital by ambulance and was treated and released.
Hansen was booked into Weber County Jail for reckless driving, driving left of center, speeding, following too close and driving under the influence of illegal substance.
Bryce Stewart, 20, of Ogden, a passenger, was booked into jail for an outstanding warrant and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Neither Hansen nor Stewart were injured.
In an extremely unusual twist, at McKay-Dee, the driver of the Bronco refused to identify himself to officers and became belligerent, McAllister said.
"It's rare when you have the victim of an accident who refuses to tell you who he is so we can complete the required accident report," he said.
The man was booked into Weber County Jail as John Doe for disorderly conduct and failure to identify himself.
