U-PASS scores please majority of area schools

Most of the school districts in the Top of Utah did pretty well on the U-PASS report released this month.

The tests document the achievement and progress of individual students over the years, awarding scores for math, science, language arts and participation, which includes attendance. High school numbers also include graduation rates.

Davis School District AYP results

The Davis School District has released the 2010-11 Adequate Yearly Progress (AYP) reports.

FARMINGTON -- Just one student with a low score or not attending enough days of school can bring down an entire school's overall Adequate Yearly Progress scores, Davis School District officials said.

Davis School District officials met with the media Tuesday to discuss the 2010-11 AYP reports that were released to the general public today.
