OGDEN -- Ogden's Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Post 1481 has joined with Leavitt's Mortuary in Memorial Day weekend ceremonies that include a ceremony for retiring American flags.
Anyone wishing to properly retire a flag may drop it off at the VFW Post, 907 W. 12th St., or at Leavitt's Mortuary, 838 36th St.
Anyone wishing to participate in the actual retirement of their flag may do so during a 5 p.m. ceremony on May 29. For more information, contact Leavitt's at 801-394-5556 or Dennis Howland at 801-389-1893.
