Search committee for new WSU president seeks input

OGDEN — Filling the shoes of Weber State University President F. Ann Millner may take until early next year.

Every step of the process takes time, said Alan E. Hall, one of 21 members of the search committee that will make a final recommendation to the Utah Board of Regents before any hiring decision is made.

Committee named to find new WSU president; input meetings set

SALT LAKE CITY — A 21-member search committee has been named to assist the state Board of Regents in the search for a new president of Weber State University.

The search committee will host public hearings to gather suggestions and input for establishing the criteria used to consider candidates. The committee will also review material submitted by applicants and recommend three to five finalists for Regents’ consideration.

Millner resigning as WSU president but staying to teach

OGDEN — Weber State University President F. Ann Millner may be stepping down, but she won’t be leaving campus.

Millner, who has worked at Weber State for 30 years, including a decade as president, plans to teach in the university’s Dr. Ezekiel R. Dumke College of Health Professions.

OGDEN – Weber State University President Dr. F. Ann Millner has announced she will step down from her presidency, according to information released Friday afternoon by WSU.

Regents defer raises for college presidents

SALT LAKE CITY — The Utah State Board of Regents on Monday voted unanimously to defer raises for state university and college presidents — the very raises the board unanimously approved last month.
