George Blaine Lemon

George Blaine Lemon will celebrate his 80th birthday.

He was born on May 25, 1930, to George Alex Lemon and Beatrice Obray.

He was raised in Paradise and graduated from South Cache High School.

He married Rhea Talbot Lemon in 1951. Their vows were later solemnized in 1953 in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Logan Temple.

He served in the U.S. Army in 1948 and was stationed in Pennsylvania and Georgia.

They moved back to Utah in 1953. He worked as a quality control inspector for Defense Depot Ogden and retired after 37 years. He then worked for Weber County School District as a bus driver and retired from there in 1990 after 10 years. He now works at Eagle Lakes Golf Course in Roy.

He enjoys being outside, staying busy, hunting, fishing and traveling, especially when he and his wife traveled by motorcycle and their yearly trips to Yuma, Ariz.

His daughters and their spouses are Kent and Sheri Kowallis, and Neil and Carolyn Powell. He has eight grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
