Mabel Alice Thompson Anderson

Mabel Alice Thompson Anderson will celebrate her 90th birthday. The event will be commemorated with an open house from 4 to 6 p.m. on June 5 at Westminster Presbyterian Church, 796 S. Mountain Road, Fruit Heights.

She was born on June 24, 1920, in Yankton, S.D.

She is retired from Hill Air Force Base, and enjoys embroidery and making things for her family. She is active in her church, Westminster Presbyterian, and attends all activities when she is able.

She has six children. Her children and spouses are Gerry and Marilyn Howe, Green River, Wyo.; Ramon and Sharon Dinsdale, Cleburne, Texas; Roger and Phyllis Close, Syracuse; William and Lois Adler, Levittown, Pa.; Nicholas and Beverly Lotito, Layton; and Lauren and Anderson, Boise, Idaho.

She has 16 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
