Think you can dance? Here's your big chance

SALT LAKE CITY -- If you think you can dance, you're invited to audition for the television show "So You Think You Can Dance."

Auditions for the show start at 8 a.m. Wednesday, in the Jeanne Wagner Theatre at 138 W. Broadway, Salt Lake City. Dancers need to be available for an extra three days, for callbacks.

APPLICATIONS now open for 2011 Utah Arts Festival, to be held June 23-26 in Salt Lake City. Performing arts and Fear No Film applications due Feb. 4. Got talent? Auditions are soon

Auditions for “Farmington’s Got Talent” are scheduled for Feb. 12, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., at the Community Arts Center at 120 South Main Street.

The audition is a prelude to the final event, which is scheduled on March 5 as a fundraiser for the Children’s Miracle Network.

Arielle Simpson, the reigning Miss Farmington, is expected to host the event. It is the second year the event will be held.

There is a $10 audition fee for city residents and a $20 fee for non-residents.
