Costs of owning a car up 2 percent

SALT LAKE CITY – New research from AAA finds that the average annual cost of owning and operating a new car has increased by 2 percent in the U.S.

LAYTON — Off-road enthusiasts will have a larger area to shop for their gear.

Fat Bob’s Garage will have an open house for its new location from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at 650 N. Main St.

The owners said the location will become the shop’s new headquarters and will be the largest location for the installation of the lift-kits, shocks and other high performance off-road gear.

The new location triples the square footage of showroom and doubles the operational capacity of the off-road specialty auto parts dealer.
