Bank Robbery

A string of bank robberies, carried out by people disguised in traditional Islamic woman's garb, has prompted concerns among religious, government and law enforcement officials in the Philadelphia area.

MESQUITE, Nev. — A stretch of Interstate 15 in northwest Arizona has been reopened after it was closed in an investigation into possible hazardous materials in a vehicle that a man carjacked and then killed himself in after robbing a Nevada bank.

LAYTON -- A reward is being offered to help catch the masked individual who robbed the Wells Fargo Bank inside the Fresh Market store in Layton on Nov. 18.

Layton Police have been notified that Wells Fargo, in conjunction with the Utah Banker's Association, has offered up to a $10,000 reward for original information leading to the identification, apprehension and conviction of the person or persons involved in the robbery, Layton Police Lt. Garret Atkin said.

SALT LAKE CITY -- The FBI is offering a $10,000 reward in a bank heist where the robbers wore Halloween masks and carried semi-automatic handguns.

CENTERVILLE -- Police are searching for a man who robbed the America First Credit Union at 11:30 a.m. Saturday.

SALT LAKE CITY -- A man suspected of robbing a bank was arrested while claiming a backpack from a Salt Lake City police station.
