OGDEN NATURE CENTER
Wild Wednesdays: 3:30 p.m. today. "True Stories from the Natural World: A Pre-April Fools Day Event". Nature can weave some pretty tall tales but that doesn't mean they're not true. Prior to April Fools Day spend some time listening to true stories from our natural world. Discover how weather has changed history and examine some of the most unbelievable animals and plants on the planet. Meet in the Visitor Center.
Birds not Bunnies -Nature's Egg Hunt: 9 a.m.-noon Saturday. $2 members/$5 non-members. Participants will learn about nesting birds found around the nature preserve and then try their hand at identification. Several nests with painted wooden eggs will be the object of the hunt as you make your way along our trails. Make and take a nest basket and other bird crafts. Pre-registration is required by Thursday. Please call (801) 621-7595.

Easy-Moderate Hikes: 6 p.m. April 6. Walk around the 21st Street Pond. From paved paths to mellow trails, if you're looking for an easier way to enjoy our community's beautiful outdoors, these outings are for you. WASATCH AUDUBON
Bird Walk: 7:30 a.m. April 7 at Box Elder Campground and Mantua. Meet at 7:30 at McDonald's (1838 W. 2700 N., Farr West) for breakfast or at 8 a.m. to carpool.

Two Saturday events at Antelope Island's Fielding Garr Ranch:
Easter Celebration: Beginning with an Easter egg hunt at 10 a.m. Ages 0-12. Other activities include a fish pond, face painting, pictures with the Easter bunny, farm ball and gunny sack races. For more information call (801) 649-5742.
Junior Ranger program: 2 p.m. Learn how sheep were sheared and wool was processed on Antelope Island (there will not be any sheep sheared during this program.) Geared for ages 6-12, but all ages welcome.
