Chelsey and Jason Taylor

Chelsey Wakefield and Jason Taylor were united in marriage on Saturday, Aug. 28, in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Bountiful Temple.

A reception was held in their honor at the Chantilly Mansion in Layton.

The bride is the daughter of Lt. Col. Paul and Mary Wakefield of Plain City. Parents of the bridegroom are Dr. Robert and Darla Taylor of Layton.

The bride graduated from Leavenworth High School and LDS Seminary in Kansas in 2008. She is employed at Charlotte Russe and plans to major in chemistry at Eastern Michigan University.

The bridegroom graduated from Northridge High School and LDS Seminary. He served in the Alaska Anchorage LDS Mission and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in aviation from Utah Valley University. He is employed as a pilot for Pinnacle Airlines, a Delta Connection.

The couple will live in Michigan after their honeymoon on a cruise to the western Caribbean.
