Gloria Martini Zanoni

Gloria Martini Zanoni will celebrate her 80th birthday with her family.

She was born on April 14, 1931, in Superior, Wyo., the oldest daughter of Gelindo and Carena Martini. In 1932, her family moved to West Weber, where she has lived her whole life.

Growing up, she worked on the family farm. She graduated from Weber High School in 1949.

In 1966, she met the love of her life Bortolo "Bert" Zanoni. They were married on June 24, 1967, in St. Mary's Catholic Church. He died in 1999.

She worked at Pillsbury for 19 years, deciding to forgo her career to become a homemaker. She is now employed at the Anderson Livestock Auction, where she has many friends.

She has been a member of the Trentini Italian Club and St. Mary's Catholic Church for many years. She enjoys shopping with her daughters and spending time with her grandchildren.

Her daughters and their spouses are Kathy and Rich Verhaal, and Linda and Jon Fretwell. She has two grandchildren: Brayden Fretwell and Kaylee Fretwell. She also has three step-grandchildren and eight step-great-grandchildren.
