Jack Stonehocker of Roy turned 80 on June 22. He plans to celebrate his birthday when his second great-grandson is old enough to travel to visit him.
He was born on June 22, 1931, in Doniphan, Neb.
He retired from Hill Air Force Base.
He is married to Carole Aeschlimann Stonehocker and has two children: Rick Stonehocker and Shelly Mabey.
He has four grandchildren: Carl and Rachael Wooten, Nicholas Mabey, and Isabella Mabey. He also has one great-grandson, Carson Wooten, and another great-grandson is on the way.
