Central Logic moves to South Jordan: Software company says move from Ogden is necessary

OGDEN -- Central Logic Inc., a leading provider of patient flow software for the health care industry, has relocated its headquarters from downtown Ogden to South Jordan.

The company that was housed in a building at 2501 Grant Ave. for three years is now operating out of the recently constructed RiverPark Corporate Center.

Central Logic employed about 10 workers in Ogden before its recent move.

"Our experience in Ogden was fantastic and we have strong ties to business partners and investors in the Ogden area," Dr. Darin Vercillo, co-founder and chief executive officer of Central Logic, and a practicing physician in Layton, said in a phone interview Tuesday.

The move to South Jordan is necessary to accommodate significant increases in Central Logic's corporate staff, which has grown to 30 employees, and its operations, as well as to facilitate growth, Vercillo said.

"With Central Logic's recent growth, and the addition of many experienced associates to effectively manage increased operational and customer acquisition activities, we needed to identify and secure a versatile, modern, and full-featured office facility to house our evolving business, and better reflect our unique corporate culture and philosophy," said Vercillo.

"Our new headquarters at RiverPark Corporate Center meets all of these requirements and provides us with additional space and flexibility as we continue to expand."

Vercillo added that the South Jordan location is an easily accessible, convenient base of operations for employees and customers.

Established about five years ago, Central Logic specializes in the development of software to track the flow of patients between health care facilities and providers.

The relocation of Central Logic's headquarters puts it close to other notable brands, such as eBay, 3M Healthcare Systems, Symantec, Novell, Overstock.com, and Adobe Systems' Omniture.

Central Logic intends to leverage its new location to recruit employees, including executives, software engineers and product managers, as it continues to expand operations and product offerings.

The company's new headquarters occupies a first-floor suite in RiverPark Corporate Center and houses Central Logic's senior management, sales, marketing, product development, technical support and administrative teams.
