Gamble to lead Utah Capitol Preservation Board

 

SALT LAKE CITY -- Allyson Gamble has been appointed the executive director of the Capitol Preservation Board.

Gamble was named acting interim director of the Capitol Preservation Board in January, 2010 following the resignation of David Hart. The appointment was made permanent last week.

Gamble's responsibilities include maintenance, restoration and long range plans for the seven buildings and grounds of the Utah Capitol Complex.

The executive director also oversees the capitol visitor services program, event and space scheduling, food services and the Capitol gift store.

Before being interim director, Gamble had been the director of communications and visitor services.
