BOUNTIFUL — A major flood-control project to be built on Pages Lane in Bountiful has attracted bids from four area construction companies.

The lowest bid for the Stone Creek box culvert project was $1.36 million, submitted by ACME Construction, of West Jordan.

Other bidders were COP Construction LLC, of North Salt Lake, $1.79 million; Whitaker Construction, of Brigham City, with a bid about $5,000 higher than COP’s; and Bowen Construction, of Centerville, at $1.88 million.
