Utah trio with toddler arrested in Mesquite on drug charges

MESQUITE, Nev. -- Mesquite police say three Utah residents found with stolen checks, methamphetamine and cocaine also had a 1-year-old boy with them at the time of their arrest.

MIDVALE — Police arrested a mother they say was at a bar in Midvale while her 2-year-old son wondered the streets naked.

Dog feces, limited food in home lead to child endangerment arrests

BRIGHAM CITY -- A man and woman remained in Box Elder County Jail on Monday on drug and child endangerment charges after police found dog feces and limited food in their home.

Christopher Joseph Limas, 37, and Hope Jessica Richan, 35, were arrested last week following the Box Elder Narcotics Strike Force's execution of a search warrant at a residence at 217 E. 400 South in Brigham City, according to a probable cause statement.

Parents accused of leaving children home alone, flying to Vegas

CHICAGO -- Child endangerment charges have been filed against an Uptown couple accused of flying to Las Vegas and leaving their two children, 12 and 9, home alone for nearly two days, police said.

Toddler fatally shoots self with gun found in car

SEATTLE -- A 3-year-old scrambled out of his child seat after his parents stopped for gas early Wednesday, found a gun police say was left in the car by his father and fatally shot himself in the head.
