Prep softball: Falcons soar under new coach Tindall

CLEARFIELD -- The Clearfield Falcons prepared for the Region 1 girls softball season with a solid 14-9 win over Morgan on Monday afternoon in non-league action.

The Falcons, under new coach Nicole Tindall, rapped out 10 hits to collect the win.

"We debated whether to play, because of the weather, but a little mud never hurt anyone," Tindall said. "I was very pleased with our hitters, they were aggressive with few strikeouts. Now we just need to work on the errors."
