1. Hint: Shhh! A pup draws up a chair in the Carnegie Free Library, a replica of a library erected on this spot in 1903. You can read more about it on a nearby historical marker, on the southern front lawn of the Municipal Building.

2. Hint: Kids only.

Clogging sisters cancel Ogden show

OGDEN — The Fab 5 has canceled its Thursday performance in Ogden.

The clogging Whitear sisters, raised in Morgan County and finalists on TV’s “America’s Got Talent” in 2009, were set to perform at 6 p.m. in the Ogden Amphitheater, 343 Historic 25th St.

No official reason was given for the cancellation and no other program is planned, said Craig Bielik, spokesman for Ogden’s Christmas Village.

Christmas Village lighting ceremony to follow Santa Claus' arrival in Ogden

OGDEN — Even the elves will get in on the fun during Saturday’s lighting of Christmas Village.

“Have Your ’elf a Merry Little Christmas” is the theme for this season’s version of the popular holiday attraction at the Ogden Municipal Gardens, 25th Street and Washington Boulevard.

But before the village lights come on, Santa and his elves must arrive in the annual Holiday Electric Light Parade.
