PLEASANT VIEW -- A new dump truck/plow will soon be purchased for approximately $135,000.
City council members voted to approve the purchase, with Councilman Todd Walker being the only one against the purchase.
Public Works Director Paul Ellsworth said the dump truck is a state bid item. He said it will be able to discharge sand in the front of the truck, and the truck will come with plowing blades, hydraulics and the sander.
