CLEARFIELD -- The city is using grant funds to upgrade the boiler at the municipal building.
Clearfield received funds from the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act, allowing the city to do efficiency upgrades, including the boiler project at the city building.
The firm of Van Boerum & Frank Associates was hired to design the energy-efficient upgrades for the existing boiler. With that in place, the city obtained bids for the work, and the council awarded the bid to MHI Service of Salt Lake City.
The project will cost $30,617.
