BOUNTIFUL -- A Centerville company has been awarded the city’s annual contract for sidewalk and curb work for the year with a price increase of 5 percent.

The city council recently approved, by unanimous vote, a bid from M C Green & Sons, Inc., to handle the city’s concrete repairs contract for approximately $425,764. It is the second straight year the firm will do the city’s concrete repair work.

Pleasant View council hears concrete job changes

PLEASANT VIEW -- Concrete work by Johnson Homes and Construction was brought before council members for approval.

Although the original bid came in around $7,000, City Administrator Melinda Brimhall said the amount jumped to a little more than $10,000, so she brought it back for council approval.

BOUNTIFUL -- A Centerville company has been awarded the city’s annual contract for sidewalk and curb work.

The city council recently approved, by unanimous vote, a bid from M C Green & Sons, Inc., to handle the city’s concrete repairs contract for approximately $405,497.

The contract is not tied to any specific project, according to Paul Rowland, city engineer.

The council approval was based on unit prices proposed for specific work, not on a set amount of money, according to Rowland.
