Nuns turn over funds to distribute

SOUTH OGDEN — As they were ushering out their furniture and filing cabinets to area nonprofit agencies Friday, the sisters of Mount Benedict Monastery paused to say thanks to their community.

“If we had any doubt before that they love us, we know now,” said Sister Daniel Knight, recalling the hundreds of people who poured into two receptions held in their honor last week.

OGDEN -- It is hard to travel around the Top of Utah without coming across evidence of the contributions made by the late Robert L. Marquardt.
