4 appointed to Utah judicial vacancies

 

SALT LAKE CITY -- Utah Gov. Gary R. Herbert has appointed four attorneys to fill vacancies on the Second Judicial District bench.

The 2nd District serves Davis, Morgan and Weber counties.

Among those named as judges are David R. Hamilton, Michelle E. Heward, Noel S. Hyde, and Jeffrey J. Noland.

Hyde and Hamilton will serve in Davis County. Heward and Noland will serve in Weber County's and handle juvenile court cases.

Herbert's judicial appointments are subject to the approval of the Utah Senate.
