Davis Chamber donates $13K to Amber Alert network

BOUNTIFUL -- The Davis Chamber of Commerce has donated more than $13,000 to the Utah Amber Alert program.

The Utah Attorney General's Office says the donation is the largest the state's Amber Alert program has ever received.

Utah's Amber Alert Plan is overseen by the Attorney General's Office but isn't supported by tax dollars.

The money was raised by the chamber's "Come As You Aren't Party" on October 16.

Previous donations have paid for training materials and training sessions for the media and law enforcement.
