Isabelle Baird

Isabelle, age 94, passed from our lives on Sunday May 19 , 2013, leaving a void that will not be filled. As a member of Americas greatest generation we have learned many lessons from her. Through her example we learned that it is the simple things that count, unconditional love of family, a home cooked meal, a brisk morning walk, a warm hug, the companionship of a good dog and a Utah victory over BYU on a fall afternoon. We watched her complete loyalty to her husband of 70 years, and felt her sadness at his passing. She would want us to know she never missed voting in an election, nor attending the many piano and dance recitals of her daughter and grandchildren and always flew the flag on July 4th. Her generation was strong, loving, loyal, and patriotic.
