Ruby Maxine (Macky) Johnson Harlow, 88, of Brigham City, Utah, died Saturday August 28, 2010, from natural causes. Funeral services will be held Thursday, September 2, 2010, at 2 p.m. at Myers Mortuary Chapel, 205 S. 100 East, Brigham City, Utah. Friends may call on Thursday from 1:00 to 1:40 p.m. at the mortuary. Interment will be at the Brigham City Cemetery. Condolences may be sent to the family at: www.myers-mortuary.com.

A Pierce County sheriff's deputy and Graham firefighters work around the smoldering remains of a house near Fredrickson, Wash., on Sunday. A sheriff's spokesman says three bodies were were found in the home. The bodies are believed to be Josh Powell and his two young sons. The explosion occurred moments after a Child Protective Services worker brought the two boys to the home for a supervised visit.
