Linda Ann Pilkington "Linda P" died August 28, 2010, of cancer. A memorial service will be held on Friday September 3rd at 6 p.m. at Wasatch Church, 4433 S. 3100 West, Roy, UT 84067. In lieu of flowers, donations for funeral expenses can be made through Wasatch Church.

A Pierce County sheriff's deputy and Graham firefighters work around the smoldering remains of a house near Fredrickson, Wash., on Sunday. A sheriff's spokesman says three bodies were were found in the home. The bodies are believed to be Josh Powell and his two young sons. The explosion occurred moments after a Child Protective Services worker brought the two boys to the home for a supervised visit.
