Barbara Marie Chance, 55, of Ogden, died August 29, 2010, at the McKay Dee Hospital. Services will be held at 11 a.m, Tuesday, September 7, 2010, at Myers Ogden Mortuary, 845 Washington Blvd. There will be a viewing prior to the service from 9 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. Interment, Myers Evergreen Memorial Park, 100 Monroe Blvd. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.myers-mortuary.com.

A Pierce County sheriff's deputy and Graham firefighters work around the smoldering remains of a house near Fredrickson, Wash., on Sunday. A sheriff's spokesman says three bodies were were found in the home. The bodies are believed to be Josh Powell and his two young sons. The explosion occurred moments after a Child Protective Services worker brought the two boys to the home for a supervised visit.
