Edna Mae Clark Smedley, died Sept. 6, 2010, of causes incident to age. There will be a gathering of friends and family from 9:45 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. Saturday Sept. 11, 2010, at the Russon Brothers Mortuary 1941 N. Main St., Farmington, Utah. Services will follow at 11 a.m. at Russon Brothers. Interment, Kaysville Cemetery at 500 E. Crestwood Road, Kaysville, Utah. Online guest book and condolences at www.russonmortuary.com.

A Pierce County sheriff's deputy and Graham firefighters work around the smoldering remains of a house near Fredrickson, Wash., on Sunday. A sheriff's spokesman says three bodies were were found in the home. The bodies are believed to be Josh Powell and his two young sons. The explosion occurred moments after a Child Protective Services worker brought the two boys to the home for a supervised visit.
