Milton George Butler, 86, passed away at his home May 13, 2013. He was born Aug. 31, 1926, to Royal H. and Essie May Butler in Marriott, Utah. He attended Ogden City Schools. Milton married Phyllis Jeannine Smith in Logan, on June 30, 1947, where they honeymooned in Jackson Hole & Yellowstone.

Norm married Verla Jorgensen in 1949 celebrating 65 years together.

Edward Franklin Knezovich, Jr. passed away May 12, 2013, at the Davis Hospital in Layton after a lifetime of Type 1 Diabetes. He was born Oct. 16, 1968, at Memorial Hospital in Rock Springs, Wyoming to Ozzie Knezovich and Arthine Ann Ward Knezovich.

Marvin Donald Richins

COALVILLE - Marvin D. Richins, known by many as Johnny, passed away peacefully of natural causes on May 21, 2013, at the age of 93 with his wife and loved ones nearby at Family Tree Assisted Living in Morgan, Utah.

Marvin was born in Coalville, Utah, October 12, 1919, to Jared Richins and Ethel Camilla Ralph. He attended Coalville Elementary and North Summit High School where he was an All State football player. He served an LDS mission to the Northern States and was a companion with Marion D. Hanks. They remained lifelong friends. He married Beth Bingham on May 25, 1944, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. They lived and raised their family in Coalville.

LaVern Bohi Johnson

ROY – Heaven became much brighter, as two hearts were finally reunited after LaVern Bohi Johnson passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family and loved ones on Tuesday, May 21, 2013.

LaVern was born to Joseph and Myrtle Tolman Bohi on Feb. 24, 1920, in Sugar City, Idaho. She was the third oldest of a large family that consisted of seven sisters and two brothers. Growing up, her family farmed sugar beets for the sugar factory. It was hard work and there was plenty of it to stay busy. Later, the family moved to Salem, two miles west of Sugar City. Her mother played the piano and had all of her girls take lessons as well.

Donna Rae Bagley Herfel

Donna Rae Bagley Herfel, 66, of Sunset, Utah, and formerly of Jerome, passed away Sunday May 19, 2013, at her home. She was born July 12, 1946 in Wendell, Idaho, the daughter of Jesse Lovone Bagley and Loretta May Thorne Bagley. Donna was raised and educated in Jerome. She married Duane Herfel and they raised two sons, Dee Delon Herfel and Duane Scott "Wayno" Herfel. They lived in Kimberly, Jerome, Brigham City, Utah, and presently Sunset, Utah.

WEST POINT — Police found a missing 15-year-old West Point boy late Wednesday they are calling a person of interest in the suspicious deaths of his younger brothers.

Loretta Kay Mikesell Webber peacefully passed and began a new journey on Tuesday, May 21, 2013. She was born on Aug. 25, 1961 in Syracuse, Utah. Loretta was the daughter of Darrell E. Mikesell and Arnell Judd. She married Roger Webber on Aug. 1, 1988 in Cheyenne, Wyo.

Pauline C. Ramos, 72, passed away May 18, 2013, due to a long struggle with diabetes and cancer. She was born July 4, 1940, in Magote, Colo., to James Clander Galvez and Ada Janette E. Valesquesz Galvez. She graduated from Sanford High School. Pauline married Armando J. Ramos in Spokane, WA at the St. Aloysius Parish on Sept. 10, 1991.

Joy Etta Robinson

Joy Etta Robinson passed away May 20, 2013 in Ogden, UT.

She was born December 10, 1957 to Dewitt Robinson Sr. and Arveal Jones in Ogden, UT, which was her lifelong home. Joy was a lifelong member of Emmanuel Church of God in Christ, where she was proudly served by lifting her voice in the choir. Joy’s greatest love was for her family and her most intense passion was for her grandchildren.

Fatal Bountiful stabbing headed for trial

FARMINGTON — The father of the man who was stabbed to death is grateful the case is finally going to trial.

“This is a jury trial case,” said Richard Q. Dunn, father of Michael Dunn. “I’m just happy it’s going to trial.”

Michael Dunn, 55, died of stab wounds Feb. 21, 2012, in his Bountiful apartment. Police said Shannon Ryan Sander, 44, stabbed Dunn during a fight.

 JUNEAU, Alaska -- Robert Lester Long, 54, passed away suddenly on Saturday, May 11, 2013 of natural causes.

 He was a dedicated father to Shanna and grandfather to Valkyrie. They were the love and joy of his life.
