OGDEN -- The Winter Dew Tour will wrap up at Snowbasin again this February.
The Winter Dew Tour announced the full schedule for the 2011-12 season on Wednesday, and confirmed it will close out the season with the Winter Dew Tour Championships on Feb. 9-12 at Snowbasin Resort.
Showcasing the world's top freeski and snowboard athletes competing in slopestyle and superpipe, this year's championship will feature the year-end awards ceremony.
Boasting the largest media platform in all of winter action sports, The Winter Dew Tour will be televised live on NBC as well.
"Snowbasin is excited to welcome the Dew Tour back in February 2012 and showcase our resort to a worldwide audience," said Kent Lyons, general manager of Snowbasin. "The opportunity to welcome the best snowboarders and skiers to our resort has proven to be very popular with our guests and we hope to again demonstrate the sports appeal of the Ogden and Northern Utah area to yet another record-setting audience."
In 2011, the Snowbasin stop set an all-time Winter Dew Tour attendance record.
The event will feature premier 22-foot superpipes and the highest level slopestyle courses at each stop. Cornerstone elements including live music and a festival village will remain a mainstay of the Tour.
