OGDEN -- Police have located a 15-year old autistic boy who had been missing since Friday afternoon.
Police Lt. Mike Ashment said the teen was found in Phoenix about 6 p.m. Saturday.
"We believe he hopped on a bus," he said. "He has family down there."
Lee Cravath, who police say functions mentally about at the level of a 6-year-old, has a history of running away.
Ashment said this is the third time in a month that Cravath had left the Waterfall Canyon Academy.
Cravath was last seen there at 3 p.m. Friday, but Ashment said a resident saw Cravath near 950 East an hour later.
"He was trying to get in (a) backyard, and the resident told him to go home," Ashment said.
Cravath's parents arrived Saturday afternoon from Arizona before the boy was found.
The Ogden Police Department put out reverse-911 calls to alert the neighborhood he was missing and went door-to-door searching the area.
